I have listed a few common questions. If anything you want to know isn’t listed please don’t hesitate to ask.
What do I need to supply before you come to my home?
Nothing! I bring towels, capes & colour, all products, hairdryer mirrors etc. All I will need is a chair and a table or work surface.
Which room is best for the service?
A kitchen or anywhere with a table/ worktop and one plug socket ( I bring an extension lead in case of need) preferably a hard floor surface so hair can be swept away easily.
What happens when you need to rinse the colour/wash hair?
Depending on your preference we can wash the colour off leaning forward over a sink/ bath or I bring my portable basin . This depends on space / plumbing and your comfort.
Do I need to wash my hair before you arrive ?
Haircuts : If it is our first meeting, I prefer to see your hair in its natural dry state. For future appointments please wash as close as possible before the cut, please shampoo and condition hair as normal. Of course this is also a service I am happy to execute and like to do- massage included!
Colour :Please leave dry/unwashed for me, thank you.
What areas do you cover, do you charge for travel ?
I cover Perth/ Fremantle and the surrounding areas, there is no travel charge for anywhere within a 15 km radius of Fremantle.
My aim is to make this as affordable as possible, so I keep travel charges minimal.
What hours do you work? Do you work evenings or weekends ?
I am able to work any day by appointment, with flexibility in hours including nights.
What made you decide to become a hairdresser?
From a very young age I have been creative and over 20 years ago I found my love and vocation in hairdressing.
I enjoy meeting new people and especially making them feel and look the best I can. I have made genuine friendships with clients and feel hairdressing at home can ease the pressure of busy salon visits making it more enjoyable for myself and my clients.
Do you cut children's hair?
Yes.
How much notice do I need to give for booking?
I recommend at least two weeks in advance although last minute bookings are also available sometimes due to cancellation.
What if your cancellations and rescheduling of appointments policy?
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment early notification would be appreciated.
